Recess is the first time we have the chance to be an insider or an outsider.
I remember being led over to the other girls my age.
I remember a circle forming with me stood on the outside.
I remember inventing everyone’s favourite game.
I think I can remember what it felt like to be a child.

The Chairs by Ionesco was due for an overhaul… or perhaps just a good ignoring of all together. In 'I’LL EXPLAIN IT ALL TO YOU LATER.', 16 emerging theatre makers create three 30 minute, high energy, low inhibition responses to another old white guy’s seminal text.
