Taishah Simcox is a Melbourne-based lighting designer/technician and costume maker, who relocated from Tasmania for her studies. She recently graduated from the Victorian College of the Arts (VCA) with a Bachelor of Fine Arts (Production).

Her VCA credits include Lighting Designer on 'before, between, beyond', Deputy Electrician on 'Theatrum Botanicum', Senior Costumier on 'Borneo plus 3' and 'Inconsolable plus 4', and Costume Manager on 'Alter Kinetic'.

Outside of the VCA she has worked as a followspot and lighting operator across numerous projects, her most notable roles being Assistant Lighting Designer/Operator on the University of Melbourne Musical Theatre Association's 'Footloose', and Technical Manager/Operator on Hobart Repertory Theatre Society's 2021 pantomime.

Taishah has completed internships in lighting design with Kathy Pineo on 'Mary Poppins' (Michael Cassel Group), with Gavan Swift on 'Moulin Rouge! the Musical' (Global Creatures), and in the wardrobe department for 'Harry Potter and the Cursed Child' (Michael Cassel Group).
