A series of infographic posters describing the percentage of infants in a variety of global regions owning a birth certificate.

The Lifesaving Power of Paperwork: Poster series on Infant Birth Certificate Numbers Per Region

'A Very Short Introduction' book covers with colourful blurred gradient backgrounds and white centre-aligned sans-serif titles and author names.

Oxford's 'Very Short Introductions' Book Series – Redesign

My redesign for the 'Very Short Introductions' series offers a modern approach. Each title is assigned a unique gradient, derived from the key colours of a relevant sourced image. As readers delve into the book, the original image is revealed on the inside flap.

Back covers of books with vibrant photographs including a nurse in turquoise scrubs in a hospital, a mountain with blue and white sky and snow, and neon green cells in a microscopic view.

Hi, I’m Sam, a keen hands-on problem solver, enthusiastic about using design practice to create creative solutions. My Bachelor of Design education and industry experience as a junior graphic designer have honed my skills in both written and graphic communication.

I am passionate about the use of design as a storytelling method, which combines my personal interests in creative literacy and graphics. I thrive when working on creative challenges, finding a niche interest in data visualisation which has challenged me to push the boundaries of visual communication through translating global issues to a human scale.
