Atulya hails from India with a bachelor's degree in Architecture (BARCH) from Malaviya National Institute of Technology (MNIT) Jaipur. Her decision to further in the field of theatre and design is grounded in her experience as an architect and performer of classical dance.

She recently completed a master degree in Production Design from the Victorian College of Arts (VCA), and wishes to create designs that embody her love for theatre and her cultural experiences.

Atulya's VCA credits include Costume Designer on 'Inconsolable plus 4' (dir. Georgina Naidu, 2023), Set and Costume Designer on 'Who can sleep when she..?' (dir. Ricardo Magno), and Set Designer on 'The Magic Flute' (dir. Jane Davidson).
