Amber Swank is a lighting technician and designer based in Melbourne. She is passionate about her practice and has a keen interest in design, technical systems, and management for musical theatre.

Her credits at the Victorian College of the Arts include Technical Manager for 'Heathers the Musical', and 'before, between, beyond' (2023), Lighting Designer for 'Inconsolable plus 4' (2023), Head Electrician for 'Urinetown' (2022), and Deputy Head Electrician for 'Merrily We Roll Along' (2022).

Amber has completed lighting internships on several productions including ‘Swan Lake’ (The Australian Ballet), ‘Mary Poppins’ (Australian Tour), and ‘A Christmas Carol’ (GWB Entertainment). Amber is excited to continue expanding her experience and hopes to pursue a career in lighting for commercial theatre.
